Weather of Ranikhet

Ranikhet is a visitors’ paradise located in the newly formed Indian state of Uttarakhand. Occupying a small place in the Almora District, this hill station and cantonment town is a pleasure to eyes. The winter season is quite chilly according to the weather in Ranikhet. Snowfalls are a common occurrence here, especially during the consecutive months of December, January and February. The monsoon season lasts from the middle of June to August. The town around this time experiences rainfall recorded at an average of 127 cm. It receives almost no rainfall in the remaining months of the year. Other than the panoramic beauty that meets the eye, the weather around Ranikhet comprises of health rejuvenating elements.
